Earlier today, from AnTuTu, we learned that a new phone with the model “V2229A” was found in the background. When obtaining the configuration information, we have all reasons to think it’s going to be the upcoming VIVO X Fold+.

The handset will host the most powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in the Android camp. Also, there is 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage space. Thus, we are talking about a handset that can beat any top-end model in the niche.

However, the machine is not only strong in performance but also brings some innovative breakthroughs. The company executive published a long article on Weibo last night, revealing some details. As the VIVO executive said, the X Fold and the X Fold+ will solve the problem of folding screen smartphones like never before. The innovative aerospace-grade floating wing-type worry-free hinge solution has passed the 300,000-fold folding test certified by Rheinland. Thus, they are going to become the most durable smartphones on the market. At the same time, the phone will support a free hover function, supporting 30-degree, 90-degree, and 120-degree angle hovering.

Plus, the VIVO X Fold+ will upgrade the fast charging to 80W (wired) and 50W (wireless). Also, the battery will increase to 4730mAh.
