The Honor X40 is available for pre-sale starting today and will start shipping on September 23. Among them, the price of 6GB+128GB is 1499 yuan ($214), the price of 8GB+128GB is 1699 yuan ($243), the price of 8GB+256GB is 1999 yuan ($286), and the price of 12GB+256GB is 2299 yuan ($329).
Honor X40 Appearance
The Honor X40 sports a 6.67-inch 2400×1080 OLED punch-hole curved screen, which also supports 120Hz refresh rate, 1 billion color display, 800nit global excitation brightness, 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, TUV Rheinland hardware level Low blue light eye protection, and uses a 0.65mm secondary tempered glass.
On the back, it adopts the so-called “full moon star ring” design. There are four colors of black, gold, green, and light green.
The Honor X40 is considered the thinnest smartphone, with a large battery capacity of 5000mAh. The thickness of the fuselage is controlled at 7.9 mm, and the weight is controlled at 172 grams. You can charge it once every two days. The battery also supports 40W super-fast charging.
Hardware and Performance
The newly-launched handset sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor based on a 6nm process. Also, it comes with a maximum of 12GB memory, which supports memory fusion technology. So the phone will borrow 7GB from the native storage when necessary, making the memory capacity 19GB. It runs the Android 12-based Magic UI 6.1 system.
