A few months ago, in June, OPPO’s sub-brand launched the Realme C30 smartphone in India. Today, the brand announced the new version of the phone. The Realme C30s is an entry-level smartphone that comes with a few minor improvements in comparison to its predecessor. It’s naïve to think that phones from this price range will bring something astonishing. But the thing is that there are still many customers who need such handsets. They have the basic functions, and they can be ideal for elderlies and, why not, kids (of course, if you want them to own smartphones).
The Realme C30s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution LCD screen, which has a water drop design. In the notch, the phone hosts a front-facing 5-megapixel selfie camera. At the same time, on the back, there is an 8-megapixel camera that supports 1080P / 30fps video recording. Under the hood, we have a UNISOC SC9863A chip, which has 4 cores clocked at 1.6GHz, 4 cores at 1.2GHz, and it integrates the GE8322 graphics card.
As many other low-end models do, the Realme C30s has a built-in 5000mAh battery. It supports 10W wired charging. Thus, it will get fully charged in 3-4 hours.
The rest of the specs include two storage specifications – 2+32GB and 4+64GB. The storage should be insufficient. But fortunately, the phone supports 1TB microSD card expansion. At the same time, the machine uses side fingerprint recognition and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Realme C30s comes in two colors – black and blue, with a thickness of about 8.5mm and a weight of about 186g.
Finally, as for the pricing, the Realme C30s’ 2+32 GB version is priced at 7499 Indian rupees (about $94), and the 4+64 GB version is priced at 8999 Indian rupees (about $113).
