According to the latest data, the power and charging speed of the iPhone 14 series have not improved much compared to the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 smartphones have passed the certification of the Chinese regulator 3C, which confirmed the charging power of 29 W (14.5 V / 2 A). The source adds that the Pro Max version will use Apple’s 30W charger for fast charging, which will allow you to charge the smartphone in about 2 hours.
A few days before Apple’s press conference, several sources immediately reported that the Cupertino company will release a 35W charger specifically for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. This will allow smartphone owners to charge them faster. However, so far these rumors have not been confirmed.
As a reminder, the iPhone 13 Pro Max supports fast charging with a power of up to 27W. It takes 2 hours and 9 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% using Apple’s 30W charger.
iPhone 14 Smartphones with 6GB of RAM
Last Friday (9), Xcode 14 Beta data revealed the amount of RAM memory of the iPhone 14. Although the information is not present in the official announcement, it is now confirmed that all models of the upcoming series will have 6GB of RAM.
Despite the unification in the amount of RAM, it is important to note that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models have an important difference in the chipset. While the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models will continue with the latest generation Apple A15 Bionic processor, the Pro models will use the A16 Bionic chips.
In benchmark tests, the A16 proved to be faster than its predecessor. The chipset recorded 1887 points in the single-core test and 5455 points in the multi-core test of the Geekbench Browser benchmark. By way of comparison, the A15 Bionic scores around 1728 points in the single-core test and 4790 in the multi-core test.
