Next week, on September 15, Honor will host a new event and uncover various products, including the Honor X40, Honor Notebook V and X series, Honor Tablet X8, etc. Today, the company revealed the X40 smartphone ahead of launch. So it turns out we know almost everything about this handset.

From the photos, we can see that the handset uses a rear ring lens module with dual rear cameras. The two cameras are located at both ends of the star ring module.
Also, we know that the Honor X40 will come with a 5100mAh battery, but the body is still thin and light. There is no speaker opening on the top of the Honor X40. So there is every reason to think that this handset will not come with two stereo speakers.
In terms of screen, the company has proven that the phone would use a billion-color OLED curved screen. There is only one opening on it, and it has a large curvature.
In this regard, a well-known Weibo blogger said that the Honor X40 series chooses would use OLED flexible curved screens, of which the peak brightness is 800 nits, and they support 100% P3 color gamut.
At the same time, the Honor X40 is not going to be priced high. Indeed, we are talking about a thousand-yuan smartphone.
Another news is that a Chinese leaker hinted that the screen of the Honor X40 might be similar to that of the Honor 60. The latter comes with an OLED screen with a 1920Hz high-frequency PWM. Interestingly, apart from the vanilla version, there will also be the Honor X40 Max, which will use an LCD straight screen. Previously, we heard that the Honor X40 Max supports 40W wired fast charging and has dual rear cameras.
