ASUS launched the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro last month. However, the company did not stop there and is preparing for the debut of another device of the ROG Phone 6 series: the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. And today, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate got an official release date after having a series of details revealed in leaks and certifications.
In a post shared through its social networks, the Taiwanese manufacturer has scheduled an event for September 19. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 8 pm in Taipei, and the conference will be streamed to a global audience via the official ASUS YouTube channel.

At the same time, the manufacturer confirmed earlier reports on the use of the Dimensity 9000+ system, i.e. the most powerful MediaTek unit. It is interesting for two reasons – firstly, it will be the first true gaming smartphone with the top MediaTek chip instead of the usual Qualcomm units.
Expected Specs of the ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate
Officially, this chip is to have a 5% higher processor performance and a 10% higher GPU than the non-enhanced version. As for the test, here we have the results from An Tu Tu, where ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate scored 1146594 points, losing the overall result to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 only by a few percent.
In addition to using a different SoC chip, the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will not differ from the base model with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip (the Pro version has more RAM and a slightly different finish, so technically it’s one model). So we get a phone with an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, Full HD + resolution, and 165 Hz refresh rate, with a main 50MP camera with a Sony IMX766 matrix and a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
For now, the further specifications of the new smartphone remain secret, but there are chances that ASUS will start releasing more teasers on social media.
