While the traditional smartphone makers are thinking of various features that will make their phones more powerful, Nokia doesn’t stop thinking creatively. On July 12 this year, HMD released the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio, which has a built-in true wireless headset. Today, this amazing handset went on sale, priced at 599 yuan ($88).
This is a feature phone which supports 4G networks. However, its selling point is not the hardware or software. As said, there is built-in earbuds slot, which carries Bluetooth headphones. In addition, there is an exclusive application for the headset, which can check the power of the headset, confirm the connection status of the headset, and prevent loss.
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio uses plastic as the main material with a mate finish. So the body is easier to clean. The phone is available in black/red and white/red colors. However, the phone is a bit thicker than the traditional smartphones on the market. Though it is 16.2mm thick, the weight is 129 grams.
On the front side, we can find a 2.4-inch QVGA display. On the right, we can see media control buttons, while the volume rocker keys are on the left. If you are a Nokia fan, you should remember the design of the old good Nokia Xpress Music devices.
Unfortunately, it still uses a micro-USB port. Thus, not all the latest chargers and cable work with it.
On the back, we can find the selling point of this device, that is, the earbuds slot. Below the latter, there is a 0.3MP camera, dual loudspeaker, and an LED flash. As for the earbuds, they will last for 4 hours on a single charge.
The battery of the phone has a 1450mAh battery. The company promises the Nokia 5710 will stay alive for 20 days on standby while using dual SIMs inside. But if you are a heavy user, the phone will only provide 7 hours of talk time.
