AMD’s new processor family will be announced on August 29. One of the models that will be included in the first batch to be announced will be the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. And today a good-quality photo of the upcoming processor has appeared on the AnandTech forums.
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X showed up in the photo
The engraved AMD logo as well as the exact name of the model are striking. The OPN code 100-000000593 is also visible below, confirming that we are dealing with an 8-core Raphael chip. It is worth noting that the processor is marked with “D”, which allegedly suggests that this is a pre-order version, probably intended for reviewers.
Recall – AMD Ryzen 7 7700X is, according to the information so far, an 8-core / 16-thread Zen 4 processor with clock speeds of 4.5 / 5.4 GHz (base / Boost), 40MB cache, and 105 W TDP.
It is expected that the recommended cost of the upcoming novelty will stop at $299 which means it would cost the same as the recently introduced Ryzen 7 5700X (Zen 3). All inaccuracies should disappear in the coming weeks. The official announcement of AMD Ryzen 7000 processors should take place on August 29.
