Today, we got some information concerning the VIVO foldable handset.
According to a Chinese tipster, VIVO’s second dual-screen ultrasonic fingerprint foldable screen handset is already on the way. From this title, you can see that the VIVO foldable handset will come with an ultrasonic fingerprint solution, while all of its competitors will use side physical fingerprint solutions. In other words, the VIVO phone will get a serious advantage.
As for the name, it is known as the VIVO X Fold S. Of course, under the hood, the phone will host the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. But this is not going to be a simple chip replacement. We mean the upcoming model will get many major improvements.
First-gen VIVO Foldable Handset
In April of this year, the company unleashed the VIVO X Fold. It came with dual internal and external 120Hz E5 screens and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chip. Also, the phone boasted of aerospace-grade floating wing hinges and support for dual-screen fingerprint solutions.
The internal screen of the VIVO X Fold is 8.03 inches in size. It uses E5 luminous material, Samsung’s diamond arrangement, 2K+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and came with a superconducting anti-reflective coating.
So we guess, the forthcoming model will improve these features further.
By the way, according to the rumors, VIVO will also uncover a clamshell folding screen smartphone.
