Samsung has a bunch of new devices coming at Unpacked on August 10, including two foldable phones, three smartwatches, and even a new pair of wireless earbuds called the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Recently, a leak has shared with us the design, configuration, and price of the successor to the Galaxy Buds Pro headset.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro colors, features and price
With the latest leaks, not only the features of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro model but also the colors have been revealed. Accordingly, Buds 2 Pro is expected to be available in 3 colors as purple, granite (grey/black), and white.
About the features, MySmartPrice claims that Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will be able to give up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge if the ANC active noise cancellation feature is turned off. Combined with the charging case, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro users will have about 29 hours to listen to calls before needing to recharge the charging case. Unfortunately, it is still not clear if ANC is turned on, how long this headset model can “stand”.
Buds 2 Pro will support Bluetooth 5.3 connection, consume less power but give better quality than previous Bluetooth versions. It will have a smaller 10mm driver, still deliver premium sound quality, and be equipped with multiple microphones for clearer voice calls.
Samsung is said to be adding 360-degree audio support to the Buds 2 Pro, giving users a cinema-like surround sound experience. Of course, it also has Transparency Mode so you can listen to music and hear the sound of your surroundings at the same time.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will also have IPX7 water resistance, withstand being submerged in water to a depth of 1 meter for half an hour without worrying about damage. The product is rumored to cost about $229.99.
