Heyup, a community-driven platform, announced to its community members that they will be releasing a new Tryout campaign, featuring the long awaited Nothing Phone (1).
What is Heyup?
The platform launched in 2021, started offering its members the opportunity to review brand new tech gear and share their reviews in the Heyup forums.
It is the first time Heyup members and tech enthusiasts can sign up in order to get access to the newly launch mid-range device, created by ex-OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei.
Testing the Nothing Phone (1)
The Nothing Phone (1) is a pretty polarizing device and has definitely become one of the 2022 spotlights. It promises to deliver a bloatware less experience, based on Android 12-based Nothing OS. The phone has a powerful Snapdragon 778G+ chipset at its heart and a 4,500mAh battery, which can be fully charged in an hour and allow wireless charging.
Following its announcement and launch, the device received mixed feelings from the tech fans community. Fans who initially expected Pei to bring back the flagship killer instinct from his OnePlus days, have been disappointed with the lack of connectivity support in the States or the mid-range positioning. That being said, most of the tech enthusiasts can only praise the fact the Nothing Phone (1) is leaving his mark in the smartphone industry thanks to its unique design and user interface.
How to join
Do you feel excited now? The Nothing Tryout program will feature Nothing’s Phone (1) and Ear (1) TWS earphones. Tech enthusiasts can sign up for a chance to get the devices for review until August 30. There will be 5 Nothing Phone (1) up for grabs and 15 pairs of Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds available.
According to Heyup’s press release, here is more about the selection process:
For each Tryout Program, the Heyup team handpicks one or two of the most trendy tech products based on members’ feedback. Members of the Heyup Community are then selected to test the products out and share their honest reviews about it on the Heyup Forums. After each Tryout Program, the Heyup team collects opinions from the participants about the products and shares the feedback among the Heyup Community, tech enthusiasts and brands taking part, to impart knowledge to improve and create better tech products.
Good luck for those of you who will take a chance. Please let us know if you have any feedback on the experience.
