In a few days, Lenovo, which is an absolute leader in the laptop market, will announce two new gaming notebooks in face of the Legion R9000X 2022 and Legion R9000K 2022. Both models will come with AMD CPU and AMD graphics card configuration. The new product launch conference will take place on July 29.

Today, Lenovo officially disclosed the configuration information of the Legion S7 16 Ryzen Edition, which corresponds to the Legion R9000X. Thus, the former one is the laptop’s international name, while the latter refers to its Chinese name.
Legion R9000X 2022 Specs
Anyway, this notebook will be available in two variants. We mean there will be two processors – R5 6600H and R7 6800H. At the same time, the graphics card will be optional – RX 6600S 4GB and RX 6800S 8GB; the memory can be optional 16GB, 24GB DDR4-4800; the SSD supports PCIe 4.0.
As for the screen, this notebook features a maximum 16-inch 2560×1600 resolution screen. Its refresh rate is up to 240Hz, the brightness is 500 nits, and it has a 100% sRGB color gamut.
In other aspects, this notebook will have a maximum battery capacity of 99.99Wh, but it will be as thin as 16.9 mm and weigh only 2.23kg. On the sides, it will carry a full-featured USB-C, HDMI, card reader, etc.
Legion R9000K 2022 Specs
The new generation of R9000K will be available with R7 6800H and R9 6900HX processors. The graphics cards are optional – RX 6700M 10GB and RX 6850M XT 12GB. Finally, the memory is up to 32GB DDR5-4800, and it supports dual PCIe 4.0 SSDs.
In terms of screen, this notebook is equipped with a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS screen, which boats 500 nits of brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, and optional 165Hz and 240Hz refresh rates. In other aspects, this notebook measures 358.1 x 263.5 x 19.4 mm and weighs 2.53 kg. The interfaces include a 2.5GHz network port, USB4 interface, HDMI interface, etc.
