During the pandemic, the tablets niche was on a high wave. It’s logical. People were locked down in their houses and they had to work and educate without leaving them. In this regard, the most affordable large-screen products were considered to be tablets. That’s why many companies decided to resurrect their old tablet lines, for instance, Xiaomi. However, there have always been a couple of top brands that never stopped making tablets. As you guess, we are talking about two forever-rival companies – Samsung and Apple. After a long pause, today, we got some news concerning the upcoming small-screen Samsung tablet, namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2022. Apart from the key features, we can also take a look at the renders.
The render comes our way from slashleaks, which adds credibility to the leak. As we can see, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2022 tablet uses a screen with equal width on all sides. The version that is spotted in a render has a dark gray back cover, which looks similar to the 2020 model.
Also, the source mentions that the tablet will come with a 10.4-inch 1200 x 2000 pixel LCD display. When holding horizontally, there is a front camera seen on the long top border. It has a 5MP resolution. On the opposite side, there is another camera with an 8MP resolution. Inside, our protagonist will also host a 7040mAh battery.
The main change in the 2022 model is the processor, from Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 to Unisoc T618. The UNISOC T618 is manufactured using TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process. It comes with two A75 large cores and six A55 small cores. Also, it integrates a Mali G52MP2 GPU. The tablet supports LTE connectivity. There is a single storage combination with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2022 tablet may be cheaper than the 2020 model, with a suggested retail price of 199 euros.
