Like many other smartphone makers, OnePlus launches a series of flagship phones in the first half of the year, and another in the second half. The latter carries the T suffix at the end of the name. Traditionally, these two lines don’t differ much. But as they are packed with Qualcomm chips, it’s reasonable to think that they will carry different processors. We mean Qualcomm releases one Snapdragon 8 chip in the first half and the Snapdragon 8+ chip in the second half. Well, as you guess, we are talking about the next-gen OnePlus smartphone namely the OnePlus 10T. It has already passed the Chinese national quality certification and will hit the market very soon.
Biggest Selling Points of OnePlus 10T
As a Weibo leaker said, the OnePlus 10T will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Well, this is not surprising as we explained above. But apart from this powerful chipset, the phone will also come with a 160W fast charging head. At the same time, we know that this device will support 150W fast charging. As a reminder, the OnePlus 10 Pro supports only 80W charging. We say “only”, but we have to admit that there are many top-branded smartphones that even don’t reach half of this charging speed. For instance, the vanilla version of the Samsung Galaxy S22 supports only 25W.
Anyway, we know that the OnePlus 10T will also come with a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a centered punch-hole design that supports a 120Hz high refresh rate and adaptive refresh rate. Thus, the phone will change the refresh rate according to the scene and save power.
Another interesting feature of this phone is going to be the triple camera on the rear. It includes a 50-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front-mounted camera will have a 16MP resolution.
The OnePlus 10T will run the ColorOS 12.1 system based on Android 12 and will be equipped with an under-screen fingerprint recognition scanner.
We think the price of this handset will be controlled at 4,000 yuan ($595). The possible launch date is the end of this month with a shipping time of August.
