Key Features
From the price tags, we can say that this is an under-$300 smartphone. Products from this price range do not come with many selling points. In this sense, the Honor X40i will not differ from other handsets and comes with only a few highlights.
Well, let’s get acquainted with the key features of the phone. It is 7.43mm thick and weighs 175g. So we guess you won’t feel any pressure on the palm when holding it in hand. Also, there is a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2388×1080 and 16.7 million colors. The phone is available in four colors: Rose Star River, Star Dream Silver, Ink Jade Green, and Phantom Night Black.
In terms of configuration, the Honor X40i uses the mid-range Dimensity 700 processor. It’s comparable to the Snapdragon 6 line chipsets. Also, there is a built-in 4000mAh battery. Though the battery capacity is not large, the phone supports relatively fast 40W charging. Of course, it has nothing with 165W or similar charging speeds of flagships from some brands, but in this price range, it’s quite surprising.
Also, the phone runs the Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 and comes with a Type-C interface and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Honor X40i sports a front 8-megapixel camera (f / 2.0 aperture), a rear 50-megapixel high-definition main camera (f / 1.8 aperture), which is accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens (f / 2.4 aperture).
