There are some product categories that are updated even twice a year. But there are even such models that users have to wait for the next generation for a few years. TWS headsets are more from the latter group rather than the former group. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro headset was released in January last year. Thus, a year and a half have passed and only now we are heating some news concerning the follow-up model. Today, 91mobiles showed the 360-degree animations of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, code-named Zenith, will have three colors: white, black, and purple. From the renders, we can see that the second-gen model doesn’t differ much from the first generation. At least, there are no obvious differences externally.
Prior to this, we have heard that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will come with a 500mAh battery. Thus, it’s a bit larger in comparison to the 472mAh of the Galaxy Buds Pro. Unfortunately, there are not many leaks concerning the forthcoming model. However, as usually happens, there shouldn’t be many improvements in the new model. In this regard, it’s useful to recall the key features of the current model.
The Galaxy Buds Pro is a wireless Bluetooth headset that supports active noise reduction. The active noise reduction function can filter out up to 99% of background noise. Also, the earbuds use Dolby Head Tracking technology. The sensor can locate the sound direction in real-time as the head moves.
In terms of battery life, with active noise cancellation turned on, the Galaxy Buds Pro generation has a battery life of 5 hours. Plus, with the charging box, it will get an extra 13-hour autonomy. When active noise cancellation is turned off, the earbuds can last 8 hours, while the charging box will provide additional 20 hours of battery life.
