Motorola resurrected its Razr series in 2019 by launching the Motorola Razr clamshell smartphone. A year later, it released the Razr 5G. Now, we are waiting for the third-gen model, namely the Motorola Razr 3. Today, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo China’s mobile phone business department, posted a watch wallpaper of the external screen when locked.
Though the Lenovo executive didn’t mention that this is the Razr 3, we have all reasons to think that it is. At the same time, some users asked about the release time of the handset in the comment area, but Chen Jin did not respond.
It is worth mentioning that Chen Jin also hinted on Weibo the day before that the Razr 3 will use an X-axis linear motor and stereo dual speakers.

Prior to this, from various leakers, such as @evleaks, we learned that the machine adopts a vertical folding design like its predecessors. So the Motorola Razr 3 will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, but the external screen area will be much larger.
A Weibo blogger revealed many specs of the upcoming model. According to him, the Motorola Razr 3 will use a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED flexible punch-hole display. There will be a 32MP camera in the hole. On the opposite side, there will be a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.5-inch sensor size as well as a secondary (probably ultra-wide-angle) 13-megapixel camera.
In terms of performance, the Razr 3 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. In its turn, the chip will be accompanied by 12GB of memory.
Lastly, much earlier, we heard that the phone will come with a 2800mAh battery. But when talking about its specs, Chen Jin said that it is the specifications of the previous-generation Razr. So there is every reason to think this is false news and our protagonist will come with a larger battery.
