There are a few days left before the ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 6 is announced but we already know how it will look. Today, a whistleblower @evleaks released high-definition renders of the device. Frankly, they didn’t reveal anything we were not aware of. But still, it’s quite interesting to take a quick look at them.
The ASUS ROG Gaming Phone should be available in two color variants – white and black. Its camera module still continues the design of the previous generation. Also, the manufacturer has made a few adjustments to the back cover. Now, there is the word 06, representing the sixth generation.
In addition, the ROG brand logo is located in the left bottom area, side by side with the Tencent game logo. The colorful personality window style in the middle part has been slightly changed. But it still retains the waist button. It is worth mentioning that the secondary screen on the back can display different content in different scenarios. But you can customize it.
As for the selling points, the ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 6 will use a 6.78-inch OLED Samsung straight screen with a resolution of FHD+ and a screen refresh rate of 165Hz. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor supplemented by 18GB of large memory. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is manufactured based on TSMC’s 4nm process. The main frequency of both the CPU and GPU is increased by 10%, and the overall chip power consumption is reduced by 15%.
The built-in dual-cell 6000mAh battery supports 65W fast charge. Also, there is a rear 64-megapixel triple camera.
Unsurprisingly, the ROG Gaming Phone 6 has been deeply tuned by ROG and is also equipped with Tencent’s customized Solar Core game acceleration engine. Thus, all Tencent games will be better played.
