Recently, the creation of Dimensity 9000+ was announced, which will be a direct successor to Dimensity 9000 and a competitor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The first smartphone with this system may appear soon. According to information revealed by Digital Chat Station, iQOO is currently testing a new smartphone model under the iQOO 10 product line.
In particular, it is likely that this device will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. This is the first smartphone using a new chip that was released by MediaTek not long ago.
Specifications of Dimensity 9000+
The new chip will be produced in the 4 nm lithography process and will provide an eight-core configuration, in which the most efficient will be Cortex-X2 clocked at 3.2 GHz.
In addition, there are three Cortex-A710 2.85 GHz cores and four 1.8 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. Compared to Dimensity 9000, the new chip is to be 5% more efficient in terms of the processor and 10% more in terms of graphics.
Possible Specs of iQOO 10 product line
Earlier, it was reported that the iQOO 10 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. So it is unclear whether the device rumored to run Dimensity 9000+ is the same device bag. It is also possible that it is two completely different smartphone models.
The device is also expected to come with an OLED FHD + screen with a size of 6.78 inches with a refresh of 120 Hz. The device will be equipped with 12GB of RAM, a 50MP main camera, and 120W fast charging. In the Pro version, we can even count on 2K LTPO and fast 200W charging.
Although the launch date of the iQOO 10 Series has not been confirmed by the company yet, it is likely that we will see the device in July this year.
