Apple is preparing to launch a new line of flagship smartphones, the iPhone 14 series. The smartphones are likely to launch in September this year. However, even before the official confirmation from the tech giant, there were many leaks about the next generation iPhone (which will probably be called iPhone 15) features, and design.
According to a report by market research firm Omdia, next year’s iPhone models will have the pill-shaped hole-punch design on the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max screens will also continue to appear on the iPhone 15.
Screen Sizes of iPhone 15
The report also further reveals the same screen size as the upcoming iPhone 14 series. According to rumors, the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will have a 6.1-inch screen, while the new iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Max will have a 6.7-inch screen size.
If details mentioned in the report turn out legit, we will see the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro having a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max and 15 Max have a 6.7-inch display.
The writer of the report also thinks that Apple is lagging behind in the competition in terms of under-display camera technology. Earlier, it was also reported that the iPhone 15 Pro models would have no bezel on the screen and the Face ID sensor would be placed below the screen.
Naturally, this piece of information and any details regarding the iPhone 15 are best treated with a grain of salt.
While such reports often contain a lot of solid, fact-based information, they also don’t claim to leak information, at least not in the traditional sense. And with so much time before the arrival of the iPhone 15, Apple naturally has plenty of time to change plans.
