Lenovo has a dominating position in the PC / laptop market. So for the brand, it’s essential to keep fingers on the pulse and frequently update its assortment. However, recently, the company launched a few gaming laptops and other products and they are performing quite well. That’s why the company has decided to launch another gaming notebook, namely the Lenovo Legion Y9000K. Today, it showed some promo teasers that not only disclose its key features but also show its appearance from all angles.
The new Legion Y9000K (Legion 7 16IAX7) will be available with i7-12800HX and i9-12900HX chips. By the way, both are desktop processors, both with 16 cores and 24 threads. The former is up to 4.8GHz and the latter is up to 5GHz. The i9-12900HX has already appeared on many gaming notebooks, but the i7-12800HX has not been put in any notebook yet.
The graphics card is optional RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti. The motherboard is HM670. There will be various memory options, but the maximum variant will be 32GB DDR5-4800 memory, supporting overclocking to DDR5-5400. Also, users will be allowed to install two PCIe 4.0 SSDs.
The battery capacity is 99Wh and comes with a 300W AC power adapter.
In terms of screen, this gaming notebook sports a 16-inch 2560*1600 resolution screen. The refresh rate could be either 165Hz or 240Hz. The rest of the screen parameters include 500-nit brightness, 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 100% sRGB color gamut.
The size of the fuselage is 358.1 x 263.5 x 19.4 mm, and it weighs 2.33 kg. lastly, in terms of connectivity, it has two Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, RJ-45 network port, USB-C interface that supports 135W fast charging, and so on.
