Samsung introduced its wireless headset Galaxy Buds Pro at the 2021 Galaxy Unpacked event it held last year. While the technology giant has kept its silence in the premium headphone segment since then, it has now been revealed that it has started working on Galaxy Buds Pro 2.

Additionally, whistleblower SnoopyTech (@_snoopytech_ on Twitter) pointed out that the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will come in three color variants: Zenith Bora Purple (purple), Zenith Graphite (grey), and Zenith White (white).
When will the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 be released?
The start of mass production means the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 could be announced very soon. However, while there is no official statement about the exact launch date, sources claim that the headphones will be released in July.
In the past days, it has been suggested that this model will not be introduced with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. Considering that both foldable phones will be introduced in August, the claim that the new wireless headset will be announced in July becomes more likely to be true.
Not much is known about the technical specifications of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 yet. The earphones will have a similar design to the Galaxy Buds 2, according to leaks. However, the sound quality will also be improved compared to the previous model, offering stronger Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance and longer battery life.
Pricing also remains unclear. As it will be remembered, Galaxy Buds Pro was on sale with prices starting from $199. It is estimated that the new model will be available for around $200.
