Back in 2020, at CES, Razer launched a new gaming controller for smartphones, namely the Razer Kishi. It adopts a telescopic design and is compatible with most Android devices. Unfortunately, there have been many things requiring polishing. The company had to work on it to be compatible with larger phones as well. Recently, Razer released the second-gen model dubbed the Razer Kishi V2. The latter comes with an updated design and many new features.

Apart from being more stable, the Razer Kishi V2 has a slightly larger footprint. So you can use it to play on larger models such as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The manufacturer has also removed the included rubber inserts, making the Kishi V2 the best Android game controller from Razer so far.
As for other improvements, the Razer Kishi V2 sports the same microswitch button and d-pad technology as the Razer Wolverine V2 console controller. So there is every reason to think that the controller will provide better responsiveness, more comfort, and more tactile feedback.
There are also two programmable multifunction buttons next to the triggers. After customization, you can get true advantages over your competitors.
Generally, the Razer Kishi V2 has become more ergonomic. It has textured hand grips, updated button placement, and new materials that provide a way better experience.
The controller works with the Razer Nexus app, which is capable of providing a “more cohesive and powerful experience.” As the company mentions, the dedicated app offers an “in-depth catalog to help players discover Android games with controller support. It also includes advanced customization functionality for the Kishi V2 controller, including remapping the multifunction buttons and updating the firmware.”
Moreover, the app supports live streaming to Facebook and YouTube. You can even capture videos and screenshots during the gameplay. It is available through Google Play Store.
As for the availability, our protagonist is available for purchase at $99.99 starting today.
