Xiaomi released the Poco GT series globally in April, starting at 500 euros. But those who think that Poco is a brand that launches only a few smartphones in a year are confused. According to various sources, the company will uncover the Poco F4 5G soon. Moreover, we can also take a look at the first spy photos of the handset. From the leaked photos, we can see that our protagonist has many things in common with the Redmi K40S series previously released in China. Thus, there is every reason to think that the F4 will be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40S.
From the photos, we can also see the word “64MP OIS” marked on the back of the machine. Thus, the Poco F4 5G will come with a 64MP primary camera, which will support OIS (optical image stabilization).

Apart from this, the previous rumors suggested that the Poco F4 5G will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The latter will boast an FHD+ resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate.
What we also know is the 6/128GB RAM and 4500mAh battery. The latter is said to support 67W fast charging. Simple calculations show that the handset will be fully charged in 38 minutes. In addition, the machine may have 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 2MP macro cameras next to the main camera. As for the selfie shooter, it will have a 20MP resolution.
There is no information concerning the chip inside. But if we are talking about the rebranded Redmi K40S, most likely, under the hood, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. Thus, we are not dealing with the most powerful smartphone in the Poco F line. As a reminder, the Poco F4 GT features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This model, in its turn, is the rebranded version of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.
The Redmi K40S’s price in China started at CNY 1,800 for a 6/128GB model, which converts to $270/€250. But the Poco F4 5G is going to be a global model. So we think it will cost a bit more.
