And today, this same source claims that the development of the new Xiaomi 13 smartphone is progressing too quickly and that its finished prototype is made of ceramic material, which is superior in quality to previous Xiaomi ceramic smartphone cases.
At the same time, ceramics have been used in many Xiaomi flagship devices, including the Mi 11 Ultra and Mix 4 models. For the new flagship, Xiaomi uses higher-class ceramics that go through 24 technological processes.
In addition, Xiaomi 13 will be the first smartphone in the world to receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (SM8550) processor. According to reports, the second-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 also uses the TSMC manufacturing process but may still use a 4nm process. Its energy efficiency ratio is better than that of the previous generation chip. Also, its performance is better than that of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Apart, according to rumors from China, this flagship series will have at least two large screens with 2K resolution. The photography capabilities of the Xiaomi 13 are also quite promising as this phone is said to come with a 50MP main sensor.
