Recently, xiaomiui reported that a new POCO phone with the model number 22041216G appeared in the IMEI database. If nothing accidental, the handset will be called the POCO X4 GT and will be released internationally in the near future.
As you know, Xiaomi has a number of sub-brands. One of them is POCO. The latter launches the same Xiaomi phones but under its brand. This allows the company to set lower prices because it doesn’t spend money on R&D.
Prior to this, we learned that there are two Xiaomi POCO X4 GT series phones, namely the Xiaomi POCO X4 GT and the Xiaomi POCO X4 GT+. The former uses a 144Hz LCD full screen, the battery capacity is 4980mAh, and it supports 67W fast charging.
It is worth noting that the POCO X4 GT series will support intelligent adjustment of the refresh rate. The mobile phone will vary from the lowest 30fps in movies to 120fps in games according to the usage scenarios. Also, it will go up to high refresh rates when it’s required. This will automatically reduce the refresh rate to save power.
In addition, the POCO X4 GT series will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 flagship processor. If so, this phone will become Xiaomi’s first Dimensity 8100 mobile phone. This chip is based on TSMC’s 5nm process. It consists of 4 Cortex-A78 cores with a main frequency of 2.85GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 with the main frequency of 2.0GHz. The GPU is Mali-G610 MC6.
The forthcoming POCO X4 GT+ will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro+. Thus, it will come with the same specs, but without the 6GB RAM. Also, it will lack the 120W fast charging, in comparison to the base model, supporting only 67W charging.
By the way, the Plus version has also been approved by FCC (Federal Communications Commission). So there is every reason to think that the handset will be launched globally soon.
