Earlier today, Honor Mobile, through its Weibo channel, promoted the forthcoming Honor 70 flagship series. The company not only released a short video but also said that the series will hit the stores in the near future.
The video shows the packaging box of the Honor 70 series. We can see that the design of the new phone packaging is relatively simple. It uses white as the main color and there is a big “70” printed in the middle.
Though there is not much information concerning the Honor 70, we have heard some specs from a well-known Weibo tipster. For instance, we know that the Honor 70 series will be the first to use the Sony IMX8 series super-bottom CMOS. The latter is expected to be announced this month. The Sony IMX800 sensor belongs to the Senser lineup customized by Honor and Sony.
Prior to this, another whistleblower @Yash Raj Chaudhary also released the latest Honor 70 series specifications:
Honor 70
The machine ought to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. It will also use BOE’s diamond-like screen (2400*1080), with a support of high-frequency dimming, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 10bit color. The rear camera will include a 100MP + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro sensors combination. The 4800mAh battery inside will support 66W fast charging. The rest of the features will include a Z-axis linear motor, stereo dual speakers, NFC, etc.
Honor 70 Pro
The machine is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100. Plus, there will be the same BOE-like drill screen (2600*1200), with a high-frequency dimming + LTPO 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate + 10bit. The camera on the back will consist of a 50-megapixel main camera (IMX766+OIS), a 50-megapixel super wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The battery and charging speed are the same. Plus, it still features X-axis linear motor, stereo dual speakers, NFC, and infrared remote control.
Honor 70 Pro+
Finally, the Honor 70 Pro+ should sport a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip and a BOE-like punch-hole screen (2800*1300) with a high-frequency dimming, a LTPO 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a 10bit color display. Two camera lenses will be identical to the ones above, but the telephoto lens will be replaced with a 12-megapixel lens. The battery capacity is assumed to be 4600mAh and the charging power will be increased to 100W. Of course, it will come with an X-axis linear motor, stereo dual speakers, NFC, and infrared remote control.
