We knew that the first Nothing Phone will be released this year. Back in March 2022, the company’s founder, Carl Pei, said that their smartphone will be called the Phone. Plus, he confirmed that the latter will hit the stores this summer. So there is every reason to think that the Nothing Phone will be available for purchase in July, August, or September. However, there is not much info concerning this handset. Prior to its launch, the company disclosed some details about the phone by releasing the Nothing Launcher on Google Play Store last week. It works on some select Samsung and Google Pixel phones.
There have been many leaks and rumors concerning the Nothing Phone. As for now, a fresh leak of the phone shows some important features of the forthcoming phone.
A Twitter tipster, Raghvendra Singh Jadon has shared a few screenshots of the phone’s specifications. So we can see that the handset will sport an AMOLED display, 50MP basic camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. We can see that the screenshots are taken from the Nothing Phone 1: User Manual e-book. The latter is currently listed on the Amazon India site.

Well, we can assume that the Nothing Phone will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10 content. Inside, the handset will sport a Snapdragon 778G SoC with up to 2.4GHz clock speed. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. But there is every reason to think there will be several memory options.
Other than that, the main 50MP camera will be accompanied by an 8MP secondary camera (an ultra-wide lens) and a 2MP sensor (depth or a macro lens). On the opposite side, we can find a 32MP selfie shooter. Finally, under the hood, the handset will carry a 4,500mAh Li-Po battery, which is going to support wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging. Unfortunately, there is no information concerning the charging power. The phone will run on Android 12 with Nothing OS skin on top.
