POCO is one of Xiaomi’s brands, and it’s known for the best price-over-performance ratio. Today, the brand released a new top-notch smartphone, namely the POCO F4 GT. It’s a flagship handset powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset as well as coming with very fast charging.

Under the hood, there is also the LiquidCool 3.0 technology, which uses two vapor chambers for removing hot air from the fuselage. As a reference, the POCO F3 used version 1.0 of this tech. Other than that, its chambers are 170% larger than the ones inside the previous F3 GT.
The chip also integrates the much faster Adreno 730 GPU, which provides 50% faster performance than its predecessor.
On the front, we have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The latter also boasts a 10-bit panel (1 billion colors) with a 120Hz refresh rate and a high-frequency PWM dimming. In fact, we are dealing with an outstanding display, which has got the DisplayMate certification as well as an A+ score after setting or matching 15 display performance records.
However, the story doesn’t end here. We mean there are still too many display parameters that make the phone really eye-catching. For instance, the display of the POCO F4 GT smartphone supports a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. This is much better than the 360Hz on the F3. All these features hint at its gaming nature. And though this smartphone has not been designed for mobile gamers, there is every reason to think the POCO F4 GT can be categorized so. Moreover, there are shoulder buttons that have been tested in 100+ popular games. They can also serve as shortcuts for normal use.
By the way, the back of the phone adopts some RGB backlighting effects that notify about calls, messages, battery charge status, and of course some colorful flair when gaming.
As said above, the POCO F4 GT supports a 120W HyperCharge system. Thanks to it, the handset’s 4,700mAh battery can get fully charged in 17 minutes. However, you can switch to another mode that will be suitable when playing games. The difference from the standard mode is that it generates less heat. But it’s still too fast charging the phone to 100% in 27 minutes.
In terms of photography, the POCO F4 GT comes with two Sony sensors. The CMOS on the rear is an IMX686, which has a 64 MP resolution and a unit size of 1/1.73″. This lens is also accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. Additionally, there is a flicker sensor.
Well, we said there are two Sony sensors. The second one is placed on the front in the punch hole and serves as a selfie shooter. This sensor has a 20MP resolution.
The handset is available in two variants of 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB priced at €600 and €700, respectively. They will go on sale on April 28. Lastly, you can choose any from various color options such as Stealth Black, Knight Silver, and Cyber Yellow.
