Earlier today, Hisense held a new product launch conference, launching the world’s first 120-inch laser TV. It is the world’s first laser TV that meets the TV brightness standard.
The Hisense Laser TV 120L9-Pro adopts a three-primary color light source architecture with extremely high RGB color purity. The color gamut coverage reaches 107% of the top color gamut standard BT.2020, which is equivalent to 151% of the DCI-P3 film color standard. So it outruns most of the similar models on the market. At the same time, it also comes with a Manhattan panoramic sound field.
In order to correspond to the flagship standards, the Hisense 120L9-Pro is made of 20-year-old North American black walnut. Also, it uses traditional golden wood craftsmanship to perfectly integrate metal and wood. At the same time, the laser TV also adopts a smart dual-screen design, which can be linked with smart home products through voice commands.

Apart from improving audio, video, and interaction, Hisense has also customized a laser theater area for laser TV users, providing a 4K ultra-high-quality home theater performance.
Liu Xianrong, general manager and chief scientist of Hisense Laser Display Co., Ltd., introduced at the press conference that the area of a 120-inch TV is equivalent to the size of a ping-pong table. Thus, it is nearly 1.5 times that of a 100-inch TV.
According to Hisense, through a comprehensive experimental analysis of the best viewing angle and the human eye’s ability to distinguish image details, they came to the conclusion that the best viewing distance for a 120-inch laser TV is 4-4.5 meters.
In addition to the 120L9-Pro, Hisense also launched the L9H series of full-color laser TVs, covering mainstream sizes of 75, 80, 88, and 100 inches, and completely completing the 75-100-inch full-size segment laser TV layout. In other words, Hisense is at the forefront of making laser TVs that should replace traditional TVs.
As for pricing, the 110-inch laser TV is priced at 49,999 yuan ($7,610), whereas the 120-inch top flagship full-color laser TV is priced at 119,999 yuan ($18,264).
