In a few days, on April 13, VIVO’s sub-brand will release a new smartphone that is going to make tough competition to a number of premium models on the market. We are talking about the iQOO Neo6. Today, we got tons of news concerning not only its key features but its appearance as well. In fact, the phone’s render has been spotted long ago. And today’s leak just confirms what we knew before. Particularly, the handset will be available in two color variants of black and orange. Also, the rear panel of the phone uses a square shape camera module, whereas, on the front, there is a punch-hole camera in the center of the display.
Apart from this, MySmartPrice shared the biggest highlights. Particularly, the iQOO Neo6 will sport a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+). At the same time, the display will support a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 397 ppi pixels density.
Other than that, we have learned that the iQOO Neo6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 chipset, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There will be three storage configurations: 8+128GB, 8+256GB, and 12+256GB. Interestingly, prior to this, we’ve also heard that our protagonist will have three color variants. Apart from the mentioned black and orange versions, there will also be a blue version.
Recently, the company was also promoting the phone through its Weibo channel. According to one of the posters, the iQOO Neo 6 will also use an independent display chip. However, only the Pro model will come with it. Thanks to it, the phone will be able to achieve a better high frame rate performance. Through MEMC motion calculation and compensation technology, low frame rate games can be increased to 90 frames or 120 frames, exceeding the native frame rate.
The iQOO Neo 6 will have triple rear cameras, of which the 64-megapixel primary sensor has an f/1.9 aperture, the remaining two sensors will be 12-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel portrait lenses. Other than that, this device will feature a 16-megapixel front camera.
Such a powerful configuration requires either a large battery or a fast-charging solution. Fortunately, this phone supports both. The iQOO Neo 6 will be equipped with a 4700mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
In addition, the iQOO Neo6 will come with a game control system led by the dual control pressure under the screen, dual linear motors, and stereo dual speakers.
