Earlier today, a Weibo tipster said that VIVO is going to release a new phone that will sport an outstanding screen. Particularly, the upcoming VIVO phone will have a 10bit color display, which will also support a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and use LTPO 3.0. Thanks to the latter, this display will not only provide an excellent viewing performance but also save more power. Unfortunately, there is no info on which company has developed this screen for the VIVO phone. But one thing is clear as the day – we are dealing with the most powerful display on a Chinese smartphone.
Well, we know that VIVO will hold a new product launch conference on April 11. At this launch, the company will take wraps off the VIVO X Fold and the VIVO X Note. As the names imply, the former model is a folding screen smartphone, while the latter is going to be a large-screen device.
VIVO has previously announced that the VIVO X Fold will be the world’s first folding screen mobile phone with both internal and external screens made of 120Hz E5 material. Thus, with this phone, the foldable smartphones market will enter the era 2.0. We mean the phone will be able to provide ultra-high-quality display effects on the internal and external screens at the same time, avoiding splitting. So we believe it will provide the strongest viewing experience among all existing folding screen smartphones.
VIVO X Fold / X Note Design And Specs
It is worth noting that the VIVO X Fold / X Note is basically the same in terms of design. So the X Note will most likely use the E5 material for the high screen refresh rate feature. Plus, we expect it to become the first native 10Bit 2K+120Hz LTPO 3.0 flexible screen model. Thus, there is every reason to think that the model we’ve been talking about above is the VIVO X Note.
As for the rest of the features, the VIVO X Fold will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a built-in 4600mAh battery, and support 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
In terms of photography, the X Fold will adopt a quad-camera consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 1.2-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens that supports 5x optical zoom.
