Earlier this year, we learned that the OnePlus 10R is on the road and will hit the stores in the first half of 2022. Particularly, we have heard that the manufacturer is going to hold a new product conference in May.
Prior to this, we got leaks concerning its key features. According to them, the upcoming OnePlus 10R will be the rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 3 that launched in China before. As for now, 91mobiles has provided renders that confirm the design and most of the features we’ve heard about before.
In fact, the renders show off the OnePlus 10R from all angles. So from the photos, we can see that the handset adopts a center hole-punch screen design. The back of the device carries a triple-camera system. The main sensor will use a 50MP Sony IMX766 CMOS supporting OIS. The other lens will have an 8MP resolution, as it is the ultra-wide Sony IMX355 sensor. Finally, there is a 2MP macro lens. The front-facing camera will have a 16MP resolution.
Besides the fact that the OnePlus 10R is the rebranded Realme GT Neo 3, it is also the company’s first smartphone to use a center-positioned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. Other than that, the volume rockers are on the left, while the power key is on the right side.
Three sensors on the back are in a rectangular module. The large primary sensor is on the top, whereas two others are below it. However, we should admit that the manufacturer has moved the LED flash. The render shows the black color variant, but we are sure there will be more color options.
From the previous leaks, we knew that the OnePlus 10R will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, it will carry a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM as well as up to 256GB UFS 3.1 native storage.
The phone drops the Alert Slider and the 3.5mm audio jack. But there are still stereo speakers and Dolby Audio support. We guess this phone will run Android 12 based OxygenOS custom skin out of the box.
As we said, there are many things in common with the Realme GT Neo 3. According to various news, the OnePlus 10R will have two models. One of them will come with a 4,500mAh battery and 150W fast charging support and the other with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W charging.
