Today, the 4G variant of the Oppo Reno7 smartphone appeared in Indonesia. Unlike all existing models in the lineup, it is the only smartphone to support 4G connectivity. Also, we should mention that there are many things in common with the Reno7 Z 5G.
OPPO Reno7 4G Features
For instance, the Reno7 Z 5G model sports a Snapdragon 695, whereas the 4G model uses a Snapdragon 680. The chip is accompanied by 8GB of RAM (plus 5GB of virtual RAM) and 256GB of native storage. Other than that, our protagonist runs ColorOS 12.1 (based on Android 12) out of the box.
Another interesting feature of the OPPO Reno7 is the 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate (180Hz touch sampling rate for up to 2 fingers). The screen is also protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The screen also boasts HDR support and comes with the necessary Widevine level to stream HD HDR content from Amazon Prime Video and other services.
As you can see from the official photos, the handset adopts a punch-hole screen. In the notch, you can find a 32MP selfie camera, which uses the Sony IMX709 CMOS. By the way, the latter has an RGBW filter. It should be familiar to you from other Reno7 models and even the flagship Find X5 Pro. Unfortunately, it can’t compete in terms of video recording, supporting only 1080p videos at 30 fps.
On the opposite side, we can find a 64MP main camera, which comes with a few secondary lenses such as a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. However, the main module has an f/1.7 lens (79°) with autofocus.
Inside, we can also find a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. Due to it, the phone will get to 39% in 15 minutes. Plus, a 5-minute charging will provide up to 100 minutes of watching videos online.
The phone is 7.5 mm thick, and its fiber glass body has an IPX4 splash protection. There are two color variants two choose from – Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange. The latter has a leatherette finish on the back.
Well, there are a few features left that we should talk about. For instance, it supports dual-SIM connectivity but there is no microSD slot; the manufacturer retained the 3.5 mm headphone jack; in the box, you can find a charger, USB cable, and a few other basics.
Price
At the moment, the phone is available for booking at a price of IDR 5,200,000 ($365/€325). The sales will commence on April 1.
