Recently, a new Huawei 4G phone with a model PAL-AL00 passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s network access. From the leaked documents, we can learn that it runs on the HarmonyOS system. If nothing else, this is going to be the Huawei Mate X3 folding screen smartphone. However, you don’t have to expect the phone to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Instead, it will sport Huawei’s self-made Kirin 9000 4G chip.
As some bloggers report, the Huawei Mate X3 folding screen is “folded out” on the back. Plus, there is a punch-hole screen on the right side.
From various reports, we learned that Huawei’s flagship product line will get a new member in face of the Huawei Mate X3. It will be a large folding screen mobile phone. Apart from this, the company will release the new Mate 50 series.
As for these phones, though the engineering machine is being tested with the Kirin 9000 / Snapdragon 888 4G platform, no one can prove that these will be the only processor variants. We mean, at the launch, the company might also release a 5G version. Anyway, at the moment, we have what we have. So let’s write down that the Huawei Mate X3 and the Mate 50 flagship smartphones will come either with the Kirin 9000 chip or the Snapdragon 8 series 4G chip.
As a reference, the Chinese first-tier smartphone manufacturer released the Mate X2 mobile phone in February last year. A bit later, it brought the Mate X2 4G version, the plain leather collector’s edition, a few customized versions of the phone. All these models support internal folding. In other words, with the Huawei Mate X3 will switch to an outward folding approach from the current inward solution.
Prior to this, we heard that the next-gen folding screen smartphone of Huawei, the Mate X3 will hit the market before the end of the year. As for the Huawei Mate 50, it should be officially uncovered sometime in July. So if the Mate X3 has been scheduled to come earlier, it means we can see it in the coming two months. There is also a possibility that the phones might be announced at the same time. However, prior to this, Huawei hadn’t done anything like this.
