When Tencent acquired Black Shark, many were thinking that there would be no new gaming smartphone launched by this company. Moreover, the Black Shark 5 series was on everyone’s lips at that time. But after this announcement, many fans lost hope. Anyway, the thing is that Black Shark will hold a new product launch conference on March 30. At this event, it will release two new smartphones – the original model and the Pro model. As the launch date is around the corner, the company has begun promoting the phone actively.
According to the official introduction, the Black Shark 5 will feature a 4650mAh battery and support 120W super flash charging. This is quite important for a phone from this niche because many smartphones launched by other manufacturers already support 100W and higher. But what’s interesting, the previous generation of the Black Shark 4S does support 120W fast charging.
In addition, the machine will come with a brand-new “TouchControl Touch Master” feature, which supports a 720Hz touch sampling rate. Black Shark has also released a comparison video with its rivals, which reflects the advantages of “TouchControl Touch Master”.
Other than that, the Black Shark 5 series will also sport magnetic powerlifting shoulder keys 2.0, a new U-shaped guide groove, and dual mechanical physical keys.
Prior to this, we learned that the Black Shark 5 series includes two models, the Black Shark 5 and the Black Shark 5 Pro. In addition, the higher configuration Black Shark 5 Pro has a body size of 163.86 × 76.53 × 9.8mm, weighs 226g, uses a 6.67-inch 2400 × 1080 resolution ultra-high-refresh rate AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, 16GB memory, front-mounted 13-megapixel camera, and a rear 108-megapixel main camera.
