Previously, we learned that the OnePlus 10R will be released before May. Once done, it will replace the OnePlus 9R and is considered to be the low-end version of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Today, 91mobiles has exposed the complete OnePlus 10R configuration. The information is provided by the whistleblower Yogesh Brar.
The OnePlus 10R will use a 6.7-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10+ support. Apart from this, the phone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. In its turn, the chip will be paired with 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 memory and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 built-in storage.
In addition, the OnePlus 10R will be the first phone in the OnePlus’ annual flagship series not to offer a three-stage slider design. The device will also remove the 3.5mm audio jack, but will still feature stereo speakers with Dolby support.
In terms of photography, the OnePlus 10R will use a triple rear camera system. The latter is said to come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There’s a 16-megapixel S5K3P9SP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
Other than that, our protagonist will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. This is the same fast charging technology that can be found on the Realme GT Neo 3. Like the Realme GT Neo 3, the OnePlus 10R will also have another version, offering a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
According to a report by Pricebaba, the OnePlus 10R will be the first OnePlus phone to feature a central punch-hole screen design. The rear camera design is very similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 3. When saying this, we mean the large primary sensor on top and two regular-sized lenses on the bottom, next to each other.
If you remember, back in July 2021, OnePlus merged with OPPO. Both had been in the same holding, BBK. But after the merging, many have been thinking that OnePlus will lose its face. In some sense, we see the firsts signs of this. For instance, the OnePlus 10R will have many things in common with a Realme smartphone released just recently. As you should know, Realme is OPPO’s sub-brand.
