Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra Might Hit The Stores In May

The Xiaomi Mi 12 series smartphones have already available for purchase in both Chinese and international markets. The lineup includes the vanilla version, the Pro model, and the 12X. But there are two models that haven’t seen light yet. We are talking about the Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite and the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. If the former smartphone will be renamed Xiaomi Civi, the most beautiful Xiaomi smartphone, the Ultra variant will be the toppest smartphone not only in the series but in the industry as well. Of course, we are not saying it will have no rivals. We are saying it will fight for the highest positions.

The Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra is said to hit the Chines stores in China in May. Afterward, it will go to other markets as well. Recently, PriceBaba quoted tipster Mukul Sharma (aka stufflistings) who said that the exact launch date of the smartphone still remains unknown. But there is room for assumptions.

We know that the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will be the successor to the Mi 11 Ultra. The latter was launched in March last year. Starting the Mi 10 series, the company is offering its own products in the premium segment. But the responsibility for this is put on the Pro model. In this sense, the Ultra variant is for represents the company’s potential in this field. So it usually comes with an innovative appearance, hardware, and software.

Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra Camera And Processor

Well, we have got tons of rumors concerning the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. From the spotted photos, we could see that the handset will have a circular rear camera module. The latter will consist of four sensors including a primary unit, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and two periscope sensors. Other than that, the camera will have a Leica blessing. Yes, this is the same company that has been polishing the cameras of Huawei smartphones. (Honestly, that’s why they were on the top of DXo). Last year’s Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra didn’t see any rivals in terms of photography. So there is every reason to think that this year’s model will continue this tradition.

In addition, we have heard that the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will come with an OLED display. The latter will boast a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will host a 4,900mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Lastly, this phone might feature the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor.
