Though Huawei has been one of the most recognizable smartphone manufacturers on the globe, it has never launched a smartphone powered by a 100MP camera. Now, the company is living its hardest days. Because of the US sanctions, it can’t use any American software or hardware. As a result, the manufacturer doesn’t launch many smartphones. But it doesn’t withdraw from this niche as well. Anyway, at today’s new product launch conference, the company released its first 108MP camera phone, namely the Huawei Nova 9 SE. The price starts at 2199 yuan ($346).
Huawei Nova 9 SE Features
The Huawei Nova 9 SE uses a slim frame to achieve an immersive full-screen effect. Thanks to a special design, its screen-to-body ratio is 94.85%. At the same time, the back cover uses 3D glass. The phone is available in three colors of ice crystal blue, fritillary white, and magic night black. Plus, it comes with a built-in nova star exclusive 3D custom theme and desktop cute pet.
Inside, our protagonist carries the Snapdragon 680 4G processor. As you know, Huawei can’t use the latest American technologies. That’s why all those Huawei models that come with a Snapdragon chip, don’t support 5G.
On the front, this phone carries a 6.78-inch 90Hz center punch-hole LCD screen. On the opposite side, the handset carries a quite powerful quad-camera system, including a 100-megapixel AI.
If talking in detail, the main camera of the machine has a 108MP resolution. Apart from this one, there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle (112° FoV) lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth of field lens. The camera supports various amazing features, such as super night scenes, and can take multiple photos for synthesis.
The front-facing camera of the Huawei Nova 9 SE has a 16MP resolution.
As for the rest of the features, the Huawei Nova 9 SE has a 4000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. So the battery can be charged to 60% in 15 minutes and fully charged in 35 minutes.
The machine is 8mm thick, weighs 191g, retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, and supports NFC.
The Huawei Nova 9 SE will start pre-sale tonight, and will officially start shipping on March 18. The price is:
