The main supplier of Apple, Foxconn, has been forced to suspend operations in Shenzhen, China following a citywide lockdown that sees non-essential businesses shut down, public transportation disrupted, and residents have been shut down. advised not to leave your home except for essential activities.
It is not entirely clear which devices Foxconn produces for Apple in its two factories in Shenzhen, but Foxconn is the largest iPhone manufacturer and all this cannot fail to have direct effects as regards the production of the much-requested iPhone 13.
iPhone 13 Is to be Developed In India From April
On the other hand, it has been reported that the iPhone 13 will be manufactured by Apple in April at Foxconn’s factory in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, seven months after its launch in India. These phones may be sold in India as well as for export.
Apple also plans to make the iPhone 13 the best-selling Apple iPhone in India. Apple, meanwhile, has said it has no plans to launch new models, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Apple’s already released iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 models are selling well in India. These mobile phones are manufactured at the Foxconn plant and the Wistron plant in Bangalore. Apple sells 70% of its iPhones in India. Apple India has increased its revenue by 68% in the last 5 years alone.
