The VIVO X Fold will be the first folding screen smartphone owned by VIVO. It has already passed various certifications, including the 3C certification.
As the latter shows, the phone comes with a charger model V8060L0A0-CN, which supports up to 80W output. We also want to remind you that it has passed through TENAA, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Apart from the news, we heard today, a VIVO 5G mobile phone with a model V2170A has passed the 3C certification on March 2. At that time, we learned that the model will come with a charger model V8060L0A1-CN, which supports up to 80W output. There is every reason to think we are talking about two different versions of the same model. But there is also the possibility that these are quite different phones just supporting the same charging power.
Well, a Weibo blogger said that this is a flagship mobile phone of VIVO sporting a 7-inch large screen, called the VIVO X Note. The engineering machine has Zeiss printing on the back. Also, we know that it will support infrared and be waterproof.
Prior to this, we have heard that the VIVO X Fold, codenamed “Butterfly”, will come with innovation. Specifically, it refers to the core component, “hinge”. (As you know, almost all problems of folding screen smartphones are related to the hinge.), VIVO proves that the phone’s performance will be fully comparable to Huawei and Samsung.
Another Weibo blogger has also shared an image showcasing the possible appearance of this phone. From the latter, we can see that the machine uses a centered single-hole curved external screen, a rear full-focus quad-camera, and does not use side fingerprints. Everyone believes that the phone will have a flagship-level hardware configuration. For instance, it will sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 4600mAh battery with an 80W wired charging + 50W wireless charging, and four rear cameras.
Most of the leaks come our way from Weibo tipsters. So when looking at the information revealed by a blogger, we can find that the VIVO X Fold will feature an 8-inch 2K E5 120Hz inner screen and a 6.5-inch 120Hz external curved screen. It will be using a UTG glass.
Panel shipments for Vivo's first foldable smartphone started production in January. We should expect an announcement for the 8.03" LTPO 120Hz UTG phone at MWC.

If believing Ross Young, VIVO’s first folding phone will use an 8.03-inch LTPO 120Hz screen, covering UTG ultra-thin glass. This is in line with the revelations from Korean media that was proving VIVO will launch a folding-screen phone with an 8-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen. The new phone uses a UTG cover, the inner screen is produced by Samsung Display, and the outer screen is produced by BOE.
