For a few years, the Japanese Sony has announced that it has no goal to get a penny from selling smartphones. Many wondered why it didn’t withdraw from the smartphone business. The answer was obvious. This company makes displays, camera sensors, and other components for smartphones. So it should remain the market to keep a finger on the pulse. Anyway, Sony’s Xperia line is very popular. We mean there are many fans that do not recognize any other brand but Sony. And when we heard about the Xperia 10 IV for the first time, it was what we and many fans had been waiting for.
Prior to this, we have heard about the Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 5 IV. And today, we got not only some news concerning the upcoming Sony’s mid-ranger for the year but also renders jointly created by Onleaks and Zautons.
And here comes your very first look at the #Sony #Xperia10IV! (360° video + gorgeous 5K renders + dimensions) #FutureSquad

As a reminder, last week, OnLeaks showed the renders of the Xperia 1 V. So in this sense, it’s not surprising to see the renders of the Xperia 10 IV this time. Just like the Xperia 1 IV, the Xperia 10 IV looks identical to its predecessor. Generally talking, Sony doesn’t like to make many changes when moving from generation to generation.
Apart from the renders that reveal the appearance of the phone, we’ve also got some news concerning its specs list. It’s said the Xperia 10 IV will feature a 6.0-inch AMOLED screen. The source didn’t mention whether our protagonist will support 120Hz refresh rate or not. So we think this phone will miss and it will come with a 60 Hz refresh rate support only. But if so, many Xperia fans, including us will be disappointed because it has become a mainstream in the mid-range smartphones market. Even the Galaxy A52s 5G and Redmi Note 11 have moved away from 60 Hz displays.
Another interesting parameter, the Xperia 10 IV will come with flat edges versus its predecessor’s more rounded edges. Thus, we doubt that grip will be ideal.
The phone still comes with three rear cameras. Seems nothing will change in comparison to the Xperia 10 III. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the side. The rest of the staff we can find on the sides include a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, power button, a volume rocker, and a couple of microphones.
The Sony Xperia 10 IV ought to come with 153.3 x 67.3 x 8.4 mm dimensions, being identical to the Xperia 10 III. Under the hood, the phone will carry 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as standard.
