Today, we already talked about two new platforms of MediaTek, Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 8000. But apart from this, the Taiwanese company also released the Dimensity 1300. The first terminals using these three SoCs are expected to be released from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2022.
The Dimensity 1300 is built with TSMC’s 6nm process and has an octa-core CPU. It included a 3GHz super-large core Arm Cortex-A78, three Arm Cortex A-78 large cores, and four Arm Cortex A-55 efficiency cores.
In addition, the Dimensity 1300 also integrates a 9-core Arm Mali-G77 GPU, APU 3.0, and HyperEngine 5.0 game engine. Due to such a configuration, the HDR-ISP supports up to 200MP and is promised to bring excellent AI performance.
HyperEngine 5.0 game engine
MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 provides a full range of smartphone gaming experiences, including AI-VR S variable rendering technology, Wi-Fi Bluetooth dual-link anti-jamming technology, and Bluetooth LE Audio dual-link true wireless stereo technology with lower latency.
Outstanding AI performance
The Dimensity 1300 integrates an independent AI processor APU 3.0 with a six-core architecture, and its performance is 10% higher than that of the previous generation chip. With advanced multi-task scheduling function, it can exert higher performance and energy efficiency in multi-task parallel processing.
