Today, Realme issued a few statements concerning its upcoming flagship phones and innovations used in them. For instance, the company said that the Realme GT Neo3 will be the world’s first smartphone to support 150W light-speed fast charging. The battery of the phone will be fully charged to 50% in 5 minutes.
Realme also announced the UDCA fast-charging architecture. It is the first 100W-200W fast-charging architecture in the industry. It uses a parallel multi-channel charge pump to increase the charging current and achieves 150W high power with lower conversion loss, lower resistance, and lower temperature. This fast-charging architecture adopts a new temperature control management mechanism, which can keep the operating temperature below 43°C all the time.
As early as 2020, the Realme X50 Pro came with a 65W fast charging technology. Later, Realme announced its 125W fast charging technology.
Recently, two new Realme machines have entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. There is every reason to think we are talking about the previously rumored Realme GT Neo3. If so, the Realme GT Neo3 features a 6.7-inch FHD 120Hz OLED screen, which also supports 10Bit color depth, and adopts a centered single-hole-punch ultra-narrow frame design.
As for configuration, the Realme GT Neo3 will be equipped with the Dimensity 8100 processor. Interestingly, prior to this, we heard that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 888 chip. The Neo2 launched last year was packed with the Snapdragon 870. So many fans have been thinking that the company will upgrade the previous of this model by packing it with the Snapdragon 888. Although there might be more than one version of the handset. And we shouldn’t rule out the possibility of launching a Snapdragon version.
In addition, the machine will come in two battery versions of 4500mAh and 5000mAh. The body thickness is 8.2mm, the weight is 188g. Also, the phone supports under-screen fingerprints and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the front, it will host a 16-megapixel lens. On the opposite side, there will be a multi-lens camera including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor used by the Xiaomi Mi 12. If you remember, this lens supports OIS (optical image stabilization). Other than that, there are two other sensors such as 8-megapixel and 2megaipixel lenses.
The release date of the Realme GT Neo3 has not been announced yet, but it is expected to hit the market in March.
