A few hours ago, Lenovo held the 2022 Legion Ecology Spring New Product Launch Conference. At the event, the company officially released a new generation of Legion Y series notebooks, including two models: Legion Y9000P 2022 and Y7000P 2022.
Legion Y7000P Features
Among them, the Y7000P 2022 series is equipped with a 12-generation Core processor and a 2.5K resolution high-refresh-rate screen. Users can choose one of the offered graphics cards, including RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti. They have a power consumption of 95W.
The Lenovo Y7000P 2022 adopts an A-side metal design. The screen size is 15.6 inches and it boasts a 165Hz high refresh rate, 2560×1440 resolution, 300nit brightness, and supports Dolby Vision.
In terms of performance, the Lenovo Y7000P 2022 sports the latest 12th generation Core processor, optional i5-12500H and i7-12700H, optional RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, standard 16GB DDR5-4800 memory, and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It can achieve a 45+95W performance release.
As for heat dissipation, the laptop adopts the Frost Blade cooling system 4.0. It comes with a multi-zone air intake, four air outlets, ultra-thin cooling fins, 3 high-performance composite heat pipes, and turbocharged dual fans.
Other than that, the Legion 7000P 2022 has a built-in 80Wh large-capacity battery and supports a maximum of 135W fast charging.

- i5-12500H/RTX 3050 version is priced at 6799 yuan ($1077);
- i5-12500H/RTX 3050Ti is priced at 7099 yuan ($1125);

Legion Y9000P Features
The Legion Y9000P 2022 adopts a double-sided metal design, equipped with a 16-inch quad-side-narrow full screen, with a screen ratio of 92.3% and a thickness of 19.9 to 26.4mm.
It has a screen resolution of up to 2560×1600, a maximum brightness of 500nit, HDR400 certification, and supports Dolby Vision.
The Y9000P 2022 supports a 165Hz high refresh rate, the response time is only 5ms, and even only 3ms after OD. Thus, it is more suitable for e-sports games. As for the rest of the screen parameters, it supports DC dimming, TUV low blue light, TUV game performance certification, etc.
In terms of performance, the Legion Y9000P 2022 is available in two versions of Core i7-12700H and Core i5-12500H processor, and the same is true for graphics cards, RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 Ti. It supports DDG2.5 intelligent three-mode display switching, CPU performance release 45W, graphics card release 130W or 140W.
In terms of heat dissipation, the Legion Y9000P 2022 upgrades the Frostblade Pro cooling system 4.0. This system is known for turbocharged dual fans, with a total of 5 heat pipes of 2x10mm+1x8mm+2x6mm, multi-zone air intake, and four air outlets.
The laptop also has a white two-speed backlit keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel, symmetrical dual speakers, Nahimic sound effects, Wi-Fi 6 support, Thunderbolt 4, and a large 80WH battery.

- Core i5+RTX 3060 is priced at 8,999 yuan ($1426);
- Core i7+RTX 3060 is priced at 9,799 yuan ($1552);
- Core i7+RTX 3070 Ti is priced at 11,799 yuan ($1870).
