After China, India is second-largest market for Xiaomi. In this region, the Chinese manufacturer has been leading the top smartphone makers list for many consecutive quarters. But what’s interesting, here in India, Xiaomi usually launches not new phones. It just renames the existing models under its various brands such as Redmi and Poco and sends them to the stores. Something identical will happen with two Redmi Note models. Today, the company official issued a statement saying that the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus 5G will hit the Indian market soon. Specifically, they will go on sale in India on March 9. By the way, in terms of name, one of them is the same Redmi Note 11 Pro series released in select European markets.
The Redmi Note Pro+ 5G sports a Snapdragon 695 SoC, whereas the Note 11 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. But with only these specs, you can’t learn about the real differences between these two.
Redmi Note 11 Pro / Plus Specs
The standard Note 11 Pro is going to be a traditional 4G smartphone. As for the known and confirmed features, this model will support a 67W fast charging. There will also be a 108MP main camera sensor and the display will support a 120Hz refresh rate. As you can see, the features we introduced above are identical to those of the global model.
Other than that, both models will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. Apart from the mentioned 120Hz refresh rate support, the displays will also adopt a hole-punch design. The front camera hole is placed in the middle of the top area.

On the back, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G will carry a triple-camera setup. Besides the 108MP main camera sensor, there is also an 8MP ultra wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Surprisingly, the vanilla Note 11 Pro 4G also gets an additional 2MP depth sensor. To take good selfies and provide high-res video calls, they come with a 16MP shooter.
As for battery, there is a 5000mAh capacity battery which supports 67W fast charging out of the box.
In term of other aspects, the Note 11 Pro smartphones come with dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. They run MIUI 13 on the top of Android 11. However, there is every reason to think that Xiaomi might announce the Android 12 update timeline for the Note 11 series at the launch and these two models will be on the list undoubtedly.
