OFF Global Launches Nokia PureBook Pro Budget Laptops

Today, the French tech company known as OFF Global introduced a couple of new laptops under the Nokia brand. We are talking about the Nokia PureBook Pro, an amazing large-screen laptop that also adopts a sleek design. But its selling point is the cost-effectiveness. We mean it’s a budget laptop with a good performance.

We understand that this might sound odd. We mean when many people hear the brand Nokia, the first thing coming to their mind is the smartphone. Well, maybe not a smartphone but a cell phone. However, Nokia is a manufacturer of various gadgets. And these laptops are the best proof.

As for the laptops, they are available in two screen sizes of 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch.

Honestly, when thinking of 15-inch or 17-inch laptops, there are two clear categories: pocket-friendly notebooks with a low-res screen and weak components or a premium notebook that looks great but costs an arm and a leg.

In this sense, what OFF Global is offers in face of the Nokia PureBook Pro is right in the middle. Just look at the rounded edges, the protruding feet, and the flat top. It looks like an Apple MacBook. Of course, it’s not. But it brings such a feeling.

On top, it uses an aluminum cover. But under the hood, there is the 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1220P processor. It is paired with an 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB M.2 SSD. That’s not anything outstanding but be sure this hardware combination will ensure good performance. Plus, the laptop comes with a 1080p IPS panel.

On the sides, we can find various interfaces, such as two USB-C charge & sync ports, a USB 3.2 port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The battery inside is capable of providing up to 10 hours of endurance.

The smaller-size screen version costs €699, while the 17-inch PureBook Pro is €799.

We still have no information on when they will go on sale but there is every reason to think that Nokia will bring them to the shelves in the near future. We guess the first countries where it will land are France, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Morocco, Tunisia, Canada, and Thailand.

The Nokia PureBook Pro models are the first laptops of the company. And in this sense, it’s illogical to wait for something big from them. But Nokia is entering this market and it’s quite interesting.
