OPPO will hold a new product launch conference on February 24 to launch mobile phones, watches, headphones, tablets, and other products. As for the moment, we have got tons of news concerning the OPPO Find X5 series of flagship smartphones. The rest of the products still remain more or less mysterious. But the information posted today refers to the OPPO Pad, the first OPPO tablet.
OPPO Pad Features
The official promo poster shows that OPPO’s first tablet is named OPPO Pad. Also, we can see that the borders on all sides have the same width and are very narrow. We guess the tablet will use a metal body, a single camera in the upper left corner, and will be offered in at least two colors – Black and Aurora Purple. The new tablet also supports the OPPO Pencil stylus, focusing on efficient office work and cross-screen interconnection.
According to the previous leaks, the front of OPPO’s first tablet will carry an 11-inch 120Hz high refresh rate screen with a resolution of 2560*1600 pixels. We still do not know what material it will be using. But we shouldn’t rule out the possibility of using the OLED material. The body measurements are 252*165*6.5mm. Inside such a thin body, there is a built-in 8360mAh large battery, which supports 33W fast charging.
In terms of configuration, the benchmark score information shows that the OPPO Pad will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip and 6GB of memory. The new tablet will also support the collaborative operation of mobile phones and tablets and will open up data connectivity for notebooks, TVs, mobile phones, tablets, headphones, and watches in the future.
The OPPO Pad has been listed on JD.com and has opened an appointment.
In addition to the new tablet, the company will also release OPPO Find X5 series mobile phones, OPPO Enco X2 flagship true wireless earphones, and OPPO Watch 2 Glacier Lake smartwatch.
OPPO Find X5 Specs
Anyway, the OPPO Pad will not be in the spotlight. Instead, the much-talked OPPO Find X5 is going to grab the whole attention. This is especially true for the OPPO Find X5 Pro, which is going to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED punch-hole screen that will also support LTP0 2.0 and achieve variable refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz.
In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the OPPO Find X5 Pro may also come with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and is expected to run Android 12 -based ColorOS 12 system.
On the front, our protagonist will sport a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie shooter, while the rear lens should consist of a 50MP IMX766 main camera (OIS), 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 13MP S5K3M5 telephoto camera.
