OPPO will hold a new product launch conference in February. At this event, the company will uncover the OPPO Find X5 series. The lineup will include at least three models. In addition to the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 versions, there will also be a Dimensity 9000 processor version. Today, we got tons of news concerning these handsets. They have already been approved by various authority organizations in China, and today, one of them appeared on the GeekBench website.
A new OPPO phone with the model number CPH2305 appeared on the GeekBench website recently. Combined with previous leaks, we can say that this phone is the OPPO Find X5. Judging from the information displayed on this website, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 flagship processor, 12GB of memory, and pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system. The single-core score is 966 points, and the multi-core score is 3383 points. Thus, it is not much different from the Dimensity 9000 processor version.
In other aspects, prior to this, we have learned that the new OPPO Find X5 series will basically continue the design style of the previous generation. The front of the fuselage will use a slightly curved OLED flexible screen. It will adopt a punch-hole screen design. The screen’s refresh rate is 120Hz, and it supports the Second-generation LTPO technology. The back adopts a streamlined mirror back shell. Also, the rear camera module will adopt a unique special shape, which is highly recognizable.
At the hardware level, this series of models will be equipped with three flagship chips: Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 8, and MediaTek Dimensity 9000. Moreover, the Qualcomm version will also be equipped with OPPO’s self-developed chip Mariana MariSilicon X, which is the world’s first 6nm image-specific NPU chip. The latter uses a self-developed AI computing unit, has a maximum AI computing power of 18 TOPS, and has an energy efficiency ratio of 11.6 TOPS / W.
Also, recently, we learned that the OPPO Find X5 will come with cameras that have been made in cooperation with Hasselblad. Yes, the same brand cooperated with the OnePlus 9 Pro. The phone will continue the triple-camera design, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 32-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. Among them, the main camera supports OIS (optical image stabilization). On the opposite side, we will find a 32MP resolution Sony IMX709 CMOS.
The new OPPO Find X5 series flagship has obtained 3C certification and is expected to be officially released in late February.
