This morning, OPPO Mobile officially announced that OPPO and Hasselblad have reached a strategic cooperation in imaging․ Both parties claim that they will “let legendary images enter everyone’s life”.
Although the company did not disclose more information, the outline of the mobile phone hidden on the promotional poster is very similar to the renderings of the Find X5 series that have been posted on the net prior to this. As a reminder, the series should launch the Hasselblad imaging system for the first time.
Hasselblad, as a century-old camera brand, has witnessed the glorious history of mankind and has landed on the moon.
In 1969, when Neil Armstrong stepped on the surface of the moon, he said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” And this classic step was witnessed by Hasselblad.
In this OPPO official announcement poster, the background is also the theme of the moon, and the outline of the mobile phone is also presented on the surface of the moon.
Previously, due to the cooperation between OnePlus and Hasselblad, the two sides jointly created the “Hasselblad Professional Mode” camera system, which deeply integrates the features of the Hasselblad camera on the OnePlus 9 Pro, and supports 12-bit color depth RAW format photos, etc. It also used the camera shutter sound to simulate the unique mechanical sound of the Hasselblad shutter between the mirrors, which is highly praised in the industry.
It is speculated that the cooperation between OPPO and Hasselblad will also bring a Hasselblad professional mode similar to OnePlus, which will enhance color matching and image details.
It is worth mentioning that this time, in addition to the Hasselblad imaging system, the Find X5 series will also debut the world’s first MediaTek 4nm flagship Dimensity 9000 chip. This is a top-level chip that can make a tough competition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
There will be at least two models, the OPPO Find X5 and the OPPO Find X5 Pro. the OPPO Find X5 will sport an AMOLED micro-arc punch-hole screen. The vanilla version should have a 6.7-inch with LTP0 2.0 support and a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. As for the Pro version, it ought to support QHD+ resolution.
